Induflex complies with the REACH regulations.
REACH is the Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It entered into force on 1st June 2007. It streamlines and improves the former legislative framework on chemicals of the European Union (EU).
The main aims of REACH are to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, the promotion of alternative test methods, the free circulation of substances on the internal market and enhancing competitiveness and innovation.
We, with the aid of experts in the field, have given careful consideration to how REACH will affect the sale of our flexible laminates. The conclusion is that all our products are Articles as defined in the legislation.
Further, to the best of our knowledge, none of our products contains any of the Substances of Very High Concern, SVHC, from the Candidate List as of June 2013 in concentrations > 0.1%. The Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern for authorization is available from the internet site link:
Since the products are Articles, do not contain substances which are intended to be released from the Articles during normal and reasonable foreseeable conditions of use, and contain no SVHCs in concentrations > 0.1%, they are exempt from registration under the requirements of REACH.
